The National Training Center of the US Army first emphasized that these situations must be truly reproduced in any exercise, because these are part of the battle and must be learned to do it. Therefore, the trainees must be allowed to really feel, train, and learn, otherwise they will suffer on the battlefield because they don’t understand or don’t. If anti-tank trenches are required during training, the commander will send engineers to dig them out according to the actual size; if the soldiers move irregularly or incorrectly during training, they will suffer "casualties" and they must be rescued in time. "Learning from mistakes and training with problems" has become the highest standard for training at the US National Training Center.
